Certification Renewal Process
There are two requirements to renew your certification: paying renewal dues and completing a short, online continuing education course worth at least 5 CE credits. Everything can be done directly within your AAH account.

Certification already expired?
You can still renew.
Depending on your last expiration date you may need to re-register and retake the exam.
But in most cases renewal is possible by completing continuing education.

Less than a Month
If it’s been less than 30 days there may be a small late fee added to your renewal dues.

Less Than a Year
If it is still under a year since your last expiration date, you can pay a reinstatement fee to renew.

More than a Year
Renewal is possible 12-36 months past expiration without retaking the exam.

What To Expect
Were you previously certified with another agency?
You can renew with AAH
Transfer to American Allied Health’s national registry to start enjoying better member benefits and keep the same credentials.
Get Reciprocity
Reciprocity Requirements
Previous certification was issued from a credentialing agency recognized by AAH.
Previous certification has not been expired longer than 3 years.
Provide a copy of previous card, Member ID, or Certification#.
