Empowering Community: Why Giving Back Matters
Our mission has always been about opportunity. In fact, our slogan speaks directly to that: “Empowering Healthcare Professionals for a Stronger Tomorrow.” The realization that certification wasn’t easily accessible is our origin story. And if you’ve heard our founder’s story, you know giving back is deeply personal for us at AAH.
With that in mind, we want to take a moment to slow down and focus on what matters most: people and communities. Every day, we feel honored to work in an industry where our members and partners have the real power to change communities. We believe it’s why so many of our members and partners do what they do as well.
Over the last few months, our team has continued a discussion about people and organizations here in Northwest Arkansas who make life better for others. Our goal was to pitch in and help locally, tangibly, and financially. So, each team member nominated a local organization that held deep personal meaning to them, and AAH decided to financially support each organization. But, beyond that, we wanted to amplify their message the best we could.
These aren’t just charities doing good work; they are often lifelines for neighbors, students, and families who need a hand to keep moving forward.
HARK NWA (Excellerate Foundation)
HARK NWA, through the Excellerate Foundation, helps residents overcome challenges with housing, transportation, and other essentials. Their work keeps students in school and families on their feet, empowering Northwest Arkansas to build a better future. CFAC provides direct care and advocacy for children and families affected by abuse and trauma. With recent funding cuts, community support is essential to help them continue this life-changing work. Support CFAC- Loving Choices Pregnancy Center
