Privacy Policy

We are completely committed to protecting your privacy. AAH will never sell or share your information with any third party. On this page, we explain how we protect your privacy and personal information through our security measures.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you create an account, register for an online exam, or contact us you will be asked to enter personal information. When you fill out a form on our site, we receive information such as your name, birth date, and email address. Upon purchase, our site does not store any debit or credit card information.

We may request additional information to verify one's eligibility to sit for an exam—such as a transcript or diploma indicating graduation from a training program. We may also request information from those seeking to verify a member's certification status, or to confirm the identity of an individual who claims to appear on AAH's certification registry. (In these cases we may ask for a user's MemberID#, Certification#, or the Issue or Expiration date that appears on every AAH-generated certificate).

What Do We Use Your Information For?

We may use your personal information for the following purposes: to help us complete the online ordering process, to verify the identity of users taking online exams, to communicate information regarding expiration dates, renewal dates, exam scores, and how to download PDF documentation or certificates of continuing education. AAH may send you periodic emails with updates and information that relates to maintaining your certification status, along with company news, and other information.

You Have the Ability to Opt Out

If you would like to unsubscribe at any time from receiving emails from AAH, you may do so with the unsubscribe link that is on the bottom of every email that goes out from our site (with the sole exception of system messages such as, for instance, password reset requests).

How Do We Protect Your Information?

Your information is protected by the most secure and trustworthy technology available. We protect your information with encryption technology—all data that is submitted from a link that begins with "https" is encrypted using SSL before transmission. No AAH administrator has the ability to view your account password, as your password is not stored in any AAH system—instead our site employs the Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) method of user authentication.
